It’s always tough to label your own work but I’d call these intelligent pulp adventures, grand entertainments set in the age of sword, musket and cannon. They’re actually real fun to write, with a lighter tone allowing the wit, honour, grandeur and even humour of Napoleonic times to shine through.
If you like Flashman, Sharpe, or Arthur Conan-Doyle’s Brigadier Gerard, heroic adventures, or just battles against the Mythos in an brand new setting, then I hope you’ll enjoy the escapades of the dashing but occasionally dim Lieutenant Gaston d’Bois, of his Imperial Majesty’s XIIIth Death’s Head Hussars.
So be prepared to join him for a rip-roaring adventures as he battles against supernatural forces of darkness (and his own pride, folly and bad judgement).
It’s always a long road to publication but so glad to get these finally out and in the hands of the reading public.
